This is from my first ever trip to the USA, in 2000, when I scored a big assignment from the awesome Rock and Ice magazine to shoot a big feature “American Climbing Through the Eyes of a Foreign Photographer” for their Photo Annual. You don’t get assignments like that anymore! It was an important one for me, a big break, which kicked off my overseas photography.
